Privacy Policy
This site is aimed at children and families, so it was designed to collect as little information as possible.
What we never ask for
- No sign-up, no account, no password.
- No real name, no email address, no phone number.
- No photos or files uploaded from your device.
What is actually stored
- The number of rounds and the best score for each game, with no link to any person.
- A random identifier stored in your browser (a cookie), so the site recognises the same visitor. It lasts a year, it is a random number derived neither from your address nor from a fingerprint of your device, and it cannot be used to track you outside this site.
- Your progress in the games (what you tried, your best scores, your active days), tied to that random identifier alone. No name, no email, no age. You can erase it at any time from the 'My progress' page.
- An email address or WhatsApp number if you sign yourself up to the parents and teachers list. This list is for adults only; we never write to children. We send a weekly message with the ten most-played games, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
- Your email if you buy a worksheet pack, so we can send you your link. No banking details are stored: payment takes place entirely at PayPal.
- The approximate country and city, to show 'who is playing right now'. The IP address is not kept as such: it is turned into a digital fingerprint (SHA-256) from which the address cannot be recovered.
- The nickname you type in a table-tennis match, deleted along with the match after 45 minutes.
Measurement tools
We may use analytics tools from Meta (Facebook) or Google to know the number of visitors and the most-played games. These tools place cookies in your browser. You can block them from your browser settings, and every game will keep working.
Children
We ask the child for no personal information, and there is no way for visitors to exchange messages. We advise parents to accompany their children online generally.
Deleting your data
To erase your progress permanently, open the 'My progress' page and press 'Delete my progress': the file is removed from the server and from your browser.
Clearing this site's cookies from your browser makes your identifier disappear, so nothing links you to any earlier data. The round counters are general totals attributed to no one.
To unsubscribe from the parents and teachers list, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message, or write to us and we will delete your address.
